About this Project

To provide increased protection and accessibility for students, employees and the public, these buildings are being renovated to improve their seismic and fire safety in conjunction with the construction of multiple ADA improvements. The seismic strengthening includes foundation upgrades, concrete bracing and polymer-reinforced columns; fire safety developments include new fire department connections, fire sprinklers, sprinkler piping and upgrades to the fire alarm systems; and accessibility improvements include new sloped walkways, accessible restrooms, drinking fountains and eyewash/showers.
