About this Project

The runway at the University Airport, the only campus airport in the UC system, will receive significant improvements, in line with Federal Aviation Administration standards. The work will include reconstruction that will widen the runway, stabilization of the Runway Safety Area, the addition of blast pads at both ends of runway, new airfield lighting, visual glide slope indicators, and the rehabilitation of taxiway exits.
